An online workshop full of creative, practical mindfulness strategies for children aged 6–12.

Creative Mindfulness for Children 6–12 is a live online training designed to equip clinicians, educators, and allied health professionals with developmentally appropriate, engaging ways to teach mindfulness to primary-aged children.

This 3-hour session is packed with creative, experiential activities to help children build attention, emotional regulation, body awareness, and present-moment connection. Learn how to integrate mindfulness in playful, neuroaffirming ways that meet kids where they are.

You’ll walk away with a toolkit of adaptable practices to use in therapy, small groups, or classrooms, including sensory-based, movement-based, and imaginative mindfulness strategies.

About the presenter

Emma Spencer is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She is known for her creative, child-centred approach and her ability to blend evidence-based practice with playfulness and flexibility.

Emma integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed principles into her work, and is passionate about making therapeutic practices accessible, engaging, and affirming for all children.
